Shure Headphones Are Terrible

I was in San Francisco and dropped by the Apple store to get a new iPod charger and was dumb enough to buy a set of these. I don't really want to do product reviews but these totally suck.

They refuse to fit in my ears, regardless which rubber/foam adapters I tried. The wire is so stiff that any movement pops the earphone out. Getting enough bass out of these headphones is impossible, I managed to get something close to the crummy headphones that come with the iPod; but, one should be blown away for what these cost. I could go on and on.

One last thought, how much of a retail store's profits come from impulse purchases that customers don't (or can't) return?
